TORRINGTON—Catherine Barella, 78, of Torrington Road, Litchfield, died Monday, Feb. 26 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital.

She was born in Torrington May 25, 2017, daughter of the late Clorindo and Frances Guillou Barella, and was raised in Bakersville. She lived in Torrington before moving to Litchfield a few years ago. She was a production worker at The Torrington Co. for 35 years.

She is survived by three sisters, Theresa Barella of Torrington, Emma Smith of Tolland and Rosemarie Hall of New Hampshire; three btothers, Frank Barella of Plattsburgh, N.Y., Ernest Barella of Spring Hill, Fla., and Clorindo Barella of New Hartford.

All funeral services including burial at Old St. Francis Cemetery are private and at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. The Phalen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
